Mission Statement

Oak Forest Sports is a Christian sports organization. Oak Forest Sports Volunteer Coaching Staff seeks to lead men, women, boys and girls to a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to edify and disciple our brothers and sisters in Christ by building friendships and a sense of community in our organization. We use the platform of competitive sports to draw new interest in our organization thereby allowing us to further our ministry. We believe that while competitive sports is not for all people - all who are involved in competitive sports have a unique opportunity to have an impact for Christ. By encouraging a culture of teamwork, we seek to train athletes to be effective collaborators as contributing members of God's Army.

Rising Warriors Basketball League - Fall 2026

Coach Kyle Jarman, with more than 25 years of coaching experience and Rising Stars Volunteer League Director, will be sharing his knowledge, experience, and passion for the game with our Rising Warriors. At Oak Forest, we believe in developing not only skilled athletes but also strong character. Our motto is simple:

Be Early. Play Hard. Play Unselfish.

We are excited to provide this opportunity for young athletes to learn the fundamentals of basketball, grow their confidence, compete in a positive environment, and develop a lifelong love for the game.

Oak Forest Basketball - Winter 2027

Oak Forest Basketball Tryouts are for Girls and Boys Ages 11-18 as of July 31st, 2026. If your player does not make a team, a refund of the $50.00 will be refunded back to you. If your player is offered a spot on a team, the $50.00 will be applied to their participation fee. The participation for JV and Varsity Teams is $495.00. The participation fee for Middle School is $425.00.
